        WHAT IS THE BIOCHEMIC PROTOCOL?

Biochemic medicine dates back more than 100 years, and was discovered by Dr. Wilhelm Schussler, a German Doctor, who is considered the father of Biochemistry. Cell salts work on a cellular level, and are based on the concept that deficiencies in any or all of these salts are evidenced by symptoms. Once these deficiencies are addressed. the ailment or disease will be resolved.

Although cell salts are a separate and distinct healing modality from homeopathy, because they are prepared by the same principle as homeopathic remedies, they are extremely safe and pose no risk of overdosing or interaction with other remedies or medications. Cell salts are so gentle that they are commonly recommended for infants and animals. Cell salt tablets dissolve quickly  in water or under the tongue. They are also offered in liquid form. There are 12  original cell salts and one that is a combination of all 12. They can be taken individually or combined with other cell salts, depending on the symptoms.

Inorganic cell salts have been recognized by numerous medical councils worldwide. Unlike most medications that are dissolved through the digestive tract, biochemic salts are absorbed through the mucus membrane and travel straight to the cell, making the very gentle yet extremely effective,

Biochemic cell salts have been grouped in 4 categories:

-Calcium salts

-Potassium salts

-Sodium salts

-Iron, Magnesium, and Silica

Dr Schussler developed five principles of healing .

1. Disease does not occur if cell metabolism is normal

2. Cell metabolism is in turn normal if cell nutrition is adequate

3. Nutritional substances are either of an organic or inorganic nature where the body is concerned

4. The ability of the body's cells to assimilate and to excrete and further utilize nutritional material is impaired if there is a deficiency in the inorganic mineral (tissue salt) constituent of cellular tissues

5. Adequate cell nutrition may be restored and cellular metabolism normalized by supplying the required cell salts to the organism in a form that is easy to absorb.

The main twelve tissue salts and basic applications are as follows:

No. 1. Calcium Fluor, or calcium fluoride – works on connective tissue, skin, joints                        No . 2. Calc phos, or Calcium phosphate – known as a restorer, particularly on bones and teeth       No. 3. Calc sulph, or  Calcium sulphate - purifies blood, aids joints, addresses pus                            No. 4. Ferr phos, or Iron phosphate – supports the immune system, and acts as an anti-inflammatory                                                                                                                                                No. 5. Kali Mur, or Potassium chloride – is detoxifying and  supports mucous membranes                No. 6. Kali phos, or phosphate -supports the brain and nerve cell system                                        No. 7. Kali sulf, also known as Potassium sulphate – aids in metabolism and supports the pancreas                                                                                                                                                           No. 8. Mag phos, or Magnesium phosphate – known as the biochemic version of aspirin, relieves muscles and cramping                                                                                                                                 No. 9. Nat mur, or Sodium chloride – regulates water throughout the body                                             No. 10. Nat phos, or Sodium phosphate – known as the biochemic antacid; supports metabolism and neutralizes acid                                                                                                                                      No. 11. Nat sulf, or  Sodium sulphate – purifies  the body and provides liver support                          No.12. Silica – particularly benefits connective tissue, skin, and hair

How Cell Salts Differ from Minerals

Because cell salts are minerals prepared by homeopathic methods and absorbed through the mucosa, they are absorbed quicker into the body and utilized more rapidly, restoring well-being.

Conversely, common mineral supplements such as calcium, magnesium and iron must be broken down in the digestive tract before being assimilated into the body.
