Christian-Based Emotional Wellness for Churches
Churches have long been recognized as hospitals for spiritual healing and recovery. For millions of Christians a church is the first place they go to in times of physical,, emotional or mental crisis. At Liberty Wellness, our mission is to assist churches to go beyond being a hospital and expand into being a wellness center for their congregations and communities they serve.

At Liberty Wellness, we believe that God's model for the Church includes the wellbeing of its members. Although we recognize that Christ is the ultimate Healer, we seek to utilize the tools He has provided us to pursue optimal wellness.
WHY EMOTIONAL WELLNESS?
Emotional Wellness refers to the ability to successfully navigate life's stresses. It's estimated that more than 70%of all doctor visits are stress related and 1 in 8 emergency room visits are mental health related. Our emotions are an amazing gifts from God. However, if unregulated, they can result in physical and mental distress. Because churches can only be as healthy as those who make up the Church Body, we partner with churches by providing emotional and physical health support tools and strategies.
The Connection Between Emotions and Chronic Conditions
Chronic conditions are a leading cause of illness and disability, and account for 3 out of every 4 deaths in the United States. The relationship between emotions and chronic illness has been thoroughly researched and is well documented. We work with churches in creating awareness and providing support through self-help solutions including video presenations, programs/workshops, handouts, wellness kits and additional resources. The major
conditions listed below are included in our general programs as well as indiviual initiatives.

Just as Jesus chose to heal in different ways in the Bible, we believe that He still chooses to heal using programs and modalities that minister to the mind, body and spirit. At Liberty Wellness, we feel privileged to partner with churches and businesses with increased knowledge and resources to empower and transform the emotional wellness of those within the Body of Christ.
